Traffic is King on the Internet. It won't come without work and time. Go through these generators and spend a day setting them up with a plan in mind. Be creative. Link generators together and have them all lead to what it is you want the most: sell a product or get referrals. C'mon, now. Sit down and do some plotting and use your imagination. You could probably come up with a million ideas using this treasure trove that is right before your eyes. Of course, if your lazy and don't want to be bothered, then just sit back and listen to the music and dream on. Remember: You can say you'll try; you can say you'll do your best; or, you can make it happen by saying, "I'll do whatever it takes."

WARNING: SUBMISSION TO SEARCH ENGINES: Many of you are submitting to search engines through automatic submission services. My advice is: unless you know what search engines you are being submitted to, DON'T DO IT! Keep track of the search engines you are submitting to, keep dates of when you submitted, don't submit to search engines more than once a month, and stay away from search engine submissions that don't tell you where they are submitting you. You could end up being submitted to the same engine several times without realizing it, and you would not only NOT get into the search engine, you could also be accused of spamming. It is your responsibility to keep track of your submissions. If a search engine like Yahoo, AltaVista, Google or any one of them accuses you of spamming, you could be in real trouble. Is it worth it? I don't think so.

Also, many automatic submission sites are using the words search engines for submitting your sites to anything but, i.e. "Submit Your Site To 3,000 Search Engines!" That could be FFA pages, home pages with search engines, etc. Don't go into these automatic submission sites unless you know exactly what you are getting. Plan your advertising campaign, not helter skelter, know what you're doing, keep a notebook of your advertising plans with dates and where you submitted and you will stay out of trouble. All your advertising won't do you a bit of good if your ISP or the host of your business page shuts you down.

This is a "Search Engine" to be used every month. Some say every two weeks, but I prefer every month. I change my pages constantly, but seldom make major changes more than once a month, and most spider engines will revisit your page after 30 days.

If you use this Search Engine and you don't have a reminder setup in your email, go to Start button on bottom left of your task bar, click on it, click on my documents, set up a new page entitled SE Submissions and put the address of this page and the date you submitted. Or, if you have been following along with the Do It Alone tutorial, make a 4 X 6 card and put the information on that. And don't forget to bookmark this page in your Favorites-change name to Search Engine.

It is not advisable to use the "Regional Section" of the Search Engine unless it is your region, fr France, de Germany, au Australia, etc.

This is really a great program. I think some people are afraid of it because they don't know how to set up their browser (if you have an IE browser, highlight the URL address that NoMoreHits sends you in your email, right click on it and click copy, then pull up your browser and click on Tools, then Internet Options, then near the top where it says home page, highlight the address that's in there, right click on it, and then click paste, and Voila---you can now pull up your browser and get other people's pages, and get credits for them. And while you're doing that, other people who are in the program are pulling up your page on their desktop) or.....

they are people who are in love with their home page and don't want to give it up. But c'mon, give it up for a few weeks and I think you'll find you love this program, and.......

You should set up your own free classified page to get your message out three times to everyone who posts on it. You can put your business banner in the middle of the page, your own ad permanently in every category, and your message sent by email to everyone who posts on your page. I know there are a lot of services out there who will perform automatic submissions for you to thousands of sites. There's one problem. They are all self-defeating and the smarter entrepreneurs knew this from the beginning. The results are abysmal. You're posting to thousands and thousands and no one is reading them---everyone else is too busy posting to thousands and thousands, too! Your lucky to get one return. All your thousands will get you is thousands of emails trying to sell you. Get one of those FFA pages yourself, (and plenty of them are charging a monthly fee for them now) and send out emails, and you will find that the people who post on your FFA page have an email account specifically for junk mail, and they just go into the account every so often to delete them, not read them. I know. I have an FFA page and too many of my emails come back with "Undeliverable-recipient's box is over quota or full." All this e-mail going back and forth and no one sees it. It's almost funny if it weren't costing you money. It's a vicious circle.

Post to the old-fashioned classifieds, like the ones above, and your ad is much more permanent, and the results are much higher. Post your thousands if you want, but do these every day as well.

Making money is not easy and never will be, no matter what they promise you. Making money is about hard work and doing things according to results, and not how hard or easy it is to do it. I will tell you that there are three ways of doing things, 1.) I'll try! 2.) I'll do my best. 3.) I'll do what it takes. You had better pick the 3rd one.

More, if you have the time, but definitely post the minimum you've set for yourself every day. I know! It's boring as hell! I spend 90 percent of my days posting ads. But it is a numbers game and that's what's going to do it. Using the above resources I've given you, you'll be able to post hundreds of ads---try and find more resources like those---with lots of them on one page. They'll soon become your favorites.
